One of our oldest cars but with a fully rebuilt engine and gearbox as well a new leather interior. Less expensive to buy than a Bentley, when new, they were still as costly as a house! Although these cars were were still traditionally coachbuilt they had many inovative features such as torsion bar suspension on the front and cross-flow heads on the engine (sorry; one for the boys there). Their excellent road holding and sprightly perfomance made them very popular with country doctors and vetinary surgeons who had to cope with our Yorkshire roads.
