Looking a bit sad once we stripped her. The chassis was sound but there were many repairs required to the timber frame and to the aluminium body work. Once we had a sound shell we could start on re-trimming her.
The interior was beyond salvation so the headlining was replaced with West of England cloth and the leatherwork with best quality Auto-Nappa. The floor was covered with Wilton velvet weave from Ulster Carpets. To finish her properly we put ten coats of laquer on all the interior wood trim and polished it until it looked like glass.
