Gray's Court Wedding Fair

We had a brilliant day at Gray's Court on Sunday. The weather started a little dull but brightened up by mid-morning to become one of the best days we had this year.Gray's Court is a beautiful historic building in York and is ideal for your wedding. The cobbled courtyard, with pollarded trees, is a scheduled historic monument and the courtyard made a fantastic backdrop to display our classic cars..

The wedding fair was organised by Lisa and Alison of The Wedding Affair with their trademark military precision. There were the usual high quality wedding suppliers there for the many brides who came to look around; nearly a hundred, I understand.

Jim Poyner sent me some great pictures of my latest acquisition, a 1939 Rolls Royce Wraith Aero-back by Park-Ward looking fabulous in the Courtyard. Jim rushed these ones through for me so I'm sure there will be more pictures  to come of the event itself.

If you didn't go you missed a treat, so have a look at The Wedding Affair and find out when and where their next event is.
