Santa Books a Rolls Royce!
Saturday was an interesting day to say the least! Six inches of snow may be what Father Christmas wants for his sleigh, but is a little more challenging when you are driving two and a half tons of Rolls Royce.

I arrived at the RHS Garden - Harlow Carr - in good time and duly delivered Santa and Mrs Claus to the waiting crowd of children and parents. The atmosphere was great, with a live band playing and the staff all dressed up as elves, fairies, a gingerbread man and Christmas Pudding! There was also a chap making balloon animals for the kids.

The staff were great and even found time to make me a welcome cup of tea. It was a fabulous event with plenty of people turning out in spite of the weather - a shame if you missed it.
Why did Santa arrive in a 1950 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith? Because 1950 was the year that HCG's was established so it seemed appropriate in the absence of a sixty year old sleigh :-)
